Our location

In the classified city of Braunlage classified as climatic health resort known for it's clean air at the foot of 620 meter high mountaineous "Hasselkopf" is our Hotel Hasselhof located. One of our unique selling points is our quite location. All our rooms are facing south west into our lovely garden - when you wake up birds will be singing (summer time) to wish you very good start in the morning. 

Our Hotel

About 50 meters from our Hotel the first hiking trails starts - the small and the great "Hasselkopf Loipe" (5,3 km and 13,6 km) and situated on the Hasselkopf just around the corner from our hotel. During winter times the Hasselkopf offers it's own Ski Lift and Ski cross country loipa just around the corner. We can assist you with tipps for hiking trails and places of interest to visit nearby. All amenities, restaurants and shops are in walking distance and within easy reach of our Hotel. The bus stops ist situated only 2-3 minutes walking distance from us.

The beautiful historic main building in typical Harz style of our Hotel was founded in 1906 and runs since 1913 as a Guest House and Hotel. In the seventies the Hotel extention was founded with 16 additional rooms all with modern comfort and build with solid concrete. Both buildings are contineously being renovated. The hotel extention is quitely located facing our garden in the back and all rooms are south-west located with sunny and bright rooms. 

Our rooms

We have in total 16 guest rooms. Eight rooms are located on the ground floor and the other eight rooms are located on the first floor. Each room as either a private Terrase or a private balcony. Each terrace or balcony is equipped with garden chairs and tables. All hotel rooms have newly renovated bath rooms. All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. All our rooms are equipped wit shower, toilet, hari dryer, new flat TV's with full range of Sky programms. Our rooms are lovely decorated in typical Harz style and kept up to date (read german description)

Heated Indoor Swimming Pool

Our own heated in house pool offers you the possibility to refresh you during the day with a nice swim in our pool. The pool house is located with views into our garden. For your easy convenience there is changing cabinet and a shows located at the pool house. For our guests we offer the use of bath robes, towels and kilts for the sauna against a charge of Euro 7,50 for 1 person. The pool house is opened from 08:00 AM until 08:00 PM. Sauna only on demand and from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and against charges.

Breakfast/Brunch: The price for our breakfast is euros 17,50 each person and night, not included in the room rate.
